About Liz Babu

Let me tell you a little of my story.  Being born in India and immigrating to the United States at a young age, I have lived in many places.  But you might be surprised to know that Richmond, VA is my favorite place out of all of them.  I find Chesterfield County to be a wonderful place to live and raise a family, which is what I do with my husband and three children.  I went to college at James Madison University and started my career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young (EY) in Fairfax before transitioning to internal audit at Prudential, Inc. in Newark, NJ.  As motherhood lead me to stay home for many years, I am finally finding the time to pursue my love of real estate.  During my moves, I realized I had a knack for finding the perfect properties for my family, and wanted to help others.  But most of all, it gave me a legitimate reason to search the internet for houses everyday!  Besides real estate, my other interests include painting, photography, and DIY home projects.   I have built my own kitchen island, barn doors, farmhouse dining table, and even bathroom vanity.  I also designed my primary ensuite bathroom out of a closet and opened a wall to combine my kitchen with a sunroom.  I believe God has gifted me with many talents and I am very thankful to have a strong faith that helps me serve my clients, no matter what the situation!  Needless to say, my clients will also benefit from my many talents and creative vision!  Whether it be for buying or selling, I will ensure every client gets the attention they deserve.
